Y16 Series CBN and Diamond Honing Stones, Honing Mandrels for Open Holes with Keyways or Splines.

Bores with keyways or splines require keyway honing tools and honing stone. Honing stone length should be 1/3 to 1-1/2 times bore length. Not suitable for blind hole work.

Available in diamond and CBN honing stones, compatible with SUNNEN tools, ensuring high material removal rate and superior surface finish.

  • S Series – Steel mandrels with soft guide shoes, suitable for honing most standard materials.
  • H Series – Steel mandrels with hardened guide shoes, designed for production environments and machining hard or abrasive materials such as carbide, ceramics, and glass.
  • B Series – Bronze mandrels, ideal for ultra-fine surface finishes and honing exotic materials.
